The supreme championship eludes strong competition from Southern Breeders!

The 28th Royal Ulster Winter Fair in association with Danske Bank took place on December 12th at the King’s Hall Pavilions.
The  new expanded  Pavilions enabled the show to expand and grow in size. There was a very large crowd in attendance with many  visitors from Southern Ireland supporting a strong contingent of cows  and  exhibitors from the Republic. The atmosphere was electric and there was hardly room to move about the stands that were all very busy with enquiries.
The judge for the show was Cord Hormann from Germany. Along with his parents, Cord owns and operates Wilcor Holsteins.   They currently milk about 50 Holstein cows with a production of 10.600 kg, milk of 3,8 % butterfat and 3,4 % protein

With Wilcor Holsteins, Cord attends shows on a regular basis.  His biggest success so far was to exhibit the Junior Champion R&W at the Swiss Expo in Lausanne in 2009.
