A clearance sale of the Ballintosig herd of Anthony Flavin, Inch, Killeagh, Co. Cork took place on Friday March 31^st last. The milking herd was offered for sale in 48 individual lots with an average price achieved of €3,704. A complete 100% clearance rate was achieved.

A bustling trade for milking stock in the 58^th Monamore herd sale resulted in a full clearance with lively and brisk bidding right throughout from beginning to end. The sale achieved an average price of €3,104 across the quality catalogue offering of 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd calvers on the day. The sale was conducted by Taaffe auctions on Saturday, June 18^th last in Carnaross livestock mart.

Cow families with generations of performance command strong prices at 38^th Lisduff Sale

The Lisduff herd of John O’Sullivan & sons held a very successful 38^th annual draft sale on Saturday October 9^th. The high quality Lisduff catalogue offered over 150 lots in total including 40 fresh calved heifers plus their heifer calves, and 85 spring calving heifers.
