Club Notes – Spring 2019
Liquid Milk Workshop
On the 6th of December our chairman Michael Freeney hosted an Arrabawn/Teagasc liquid milk workshop. Speakers present were George Ramsbottom and Joe Patton. George discussed aspects of cow breeding, while Joe gave a presentation on Quality Silage.
It was a good refresher course, as we cannot be reminded often enough the role good quality silage has to play in profitable liquid milk production. Thanks to Michael and Sylvia for once again opening their doors and hosting this.
