YMA Team success at the European Holstein Show 2019
YMA members Rachel Corley from the Breffni Oriel club and Claire Kirby from the Cork club were selected to represent Ireland.This is a prestigious honour, to be chosen from their peers of Young Breeders Nationally to go on to compete against the very best from the Continent. Rachel and Claire made the journey to Libramont in Belgium, the host venue.Young Breeders from 19 countries participated.
he competition consisted of Clipping & Handling classes. There were two judges, both are members of the European Recommended Judging panel. The Handling classes (Showmanship) were judged this morning. Rachel was placed 3rd in her Junior class. Claire was placed 2nd and she went on to be highly commended in her Senior Class.
