National Finals – Tuesday 27th & Wednesday 28th July 2010

Our Annual National Calf Show finals will take place again this year at the Hub, Cillin Hill, Kilkenny on Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th July 2010. This 2 day event will kick off at 2pm on the Tuesday with the Clipping Competition followed by the Handler Classes (showmanship) at 3.30pm. These classes will be judged by Mr. Colin Laird of Peebleshire, Scotland. The Calf classes commence @ 10am on Wednesday morning 28th July. Our youngstock judge is Mr. Iwan Morgan of Carnarthen, Wales. The National Finals will wrap up on Wednesday afternoon with presentation of prizes to the winning competitors from our 15 regional YMA Clubs along with the Northern Ireland Club. Winners of the various competitors will go forward to represent Ireland in the European Young Breeders School in Belgium this September. We are again indebted to our loyal sponsors Volac and Eurogene A.I. for their generous sponsorship of this prestigious show.
